SUPANOVA MEDIA is a young boutique media producer and publisher, based in London, UK.

The studio was set up in 2020 by Henry Chebaane, drawing from his 30 years experience as a multimedia artist and creative director, to produce and develop narrative content, characters and fictional universes across multiple media platforms.

As of 2024, we are focussed on publishing and distributing two distinct IPs with several more at various stages of development.

Our first original story was published Summer 2023 as a 200 pages graphic novel, printed in England as large format A4 in full colours on silk paper stock.

We welcome 2024 with two new editions: a Kindle version of the printed graphic novel + a set of three digital books released on Global Comix with individual panels ‘guided view’ for a more cinematic experience.

TIMES OF LONDON the debut novel of writer and designer Henry Chebaane, from his trilogy THE PANHARMONION CHRONICLES is a gritty thriller that grapples with the nature of time, reality, and identity. Masterfully illustrated by veteran graphic artist Stephen Baskerville, the heady blend of science-fiction, horror and alternative history is spliced through with occasional hints of wry humour, pop culture and homage to music lovers of all genres.

WILL HER STORY

END HISTORY?

Alex Campbell is a Canadian musician struggling with a conflicted identity, a tragic past and repressed supernatural abilities. She is a primed time-bomb in the making. Orphaned at a young age, life has never been easy and is about to get a lot worse. Following the inheritance of a decaying 19th century London house from a mysterious ancestor, she moves to Britain, hoping for a fresh start and a better future.

Soon, her renovation plans are being thwarted by agents of a shadowy corporation with ancient roots and a malevolent agenda. While fighting against their mounting hostility, Alex makes some shocking discoveries about her family and herself that alters her grip on reality.

When she discovers a mysterious artefact that her opponents have been seeking through the ages, she becomes the catalyst for a chain reaction of horrifying events, that reveals a millennia-old conspiracy, unravels the spacetime continuum and spells the end of history as we know it.

Debut Music Album.

PUBLISHING SPRING 2024.

One of the themes of THE PANHARMONION CHRONICLES is the fluidity between different ‘realities’ in our universe or possible multiverse.

Alex, our main protagonist, is a composer who produces music under the alias ‘LX8’.

So, as a creative experiment, the books in the trilogy are being complemented with a music album, in a kind of: ‘Art imitating Life imitating Art’ … infinite recursive loop.

Henry Chebaane writes lyrics and occasionally produces music tracks. Some of which have been released on all the major platforms over the last few months. LX8 music is mostly in Electronic Dance styles to reflect the Time Travel, Supernatural and Quantum Physics flavours underpinning the plot and subplots.

As a transmedia IP, parts of the story is also being explored as music videos on its own YouTube channel.

Second Graphic Novel.

PUBLISHING SPRING-SUMMER 2024.

The second novel to be published this year is a 180 pages thriller blending family drama, fast action, and speculative fiction with occasional violence, pop culture and humour.  The action takes place in familiar parts of East and West London.

Woven within the complex plot are philosophical questions about the nature of Loyalty, Family and Identity. This story started as an idea while the author was working on the design for a restaurant near Earl’s Court. He drew on his memories of recent travels across India, Malaysia and Singapore….and, oddly, of his first job cleaning kitchens, 35 years ago.

REAL LOCATIONS FOR SURREAL FICTION.

Food and hospitality play a big part in Henry Chebaane’s professional work, as tools of endless storytelling possibilities.

This presents a rather unique potential for him to blend many different media, between fiction and reality.

It is also an opportunity for the readers to visit some of the actual places that are featured in his novels and be part of this on-going creative experiment about ‘Art imitating Life imitating Art’ …

The venues are all located within two boutique hotels: The Gyle and The Megaro. Both are conveniently located a few minutes from each other, in King’s Cross, London, England.
